It is with great sadness that we at Lone Oak Companies must inform you
that Bruce Smith, our founder and owner passed away at the age of 69 on
Friday September 9th due to complications stemming from his 4 month
battle with cancer. We know that many of you knew and had dealt with
Bruce personally in the past and will be saddened to hear of his passing.
The funeral service was held Tuesday September 13th at 7:00pm at Peace Reformed Church in Eagan, MN.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to:
The Raptor Center at the University of MN
or
Peace Reformed Church.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Bruce's family in this time of loss.
